Artist and wood craftsman Kevin McKinney has been working with wood since he was 8 years old. He began turning wood to bowls, and lazy susans along with other pieces. He then developed his abilities to creating special made to order tables, cabinets , picture frames among other items .
Kevin mills and drys his own wood and has invented a patented finish that lasts beautifully for years.
Kevins other passion is to share with the viewer his paintings . He has been painting for a year and a half , on site and in studio.
His painting mostly are of natural beauty capturing views of his travels and where he was raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
He also enjoys painting homes, barns and other buildings on commission.
Occasionally , Jean Molnar contributes to Kevins inventory as he is a good instructor and she will offer some of her work as well.
